Peer has been involved in the art and framing business since 1979. He studied classical oil painting and paper conservation through the University of Victoria. Peer’s knowledge of art conservation and custom framing is often sought out by institutions such as the Art Gallery of Peterborough, Trent University and the Peterborough Museum and Archives. He can often be seen walking downtown with Rufus, his standard poodle.
Lori and Peer moved to Peterborough in 1985 and have enjoyed raising their three children here and being actively involved in the community. Lori was a founding member of the Peterborough Singers in 1992 and has been a part of the choir since then. She has served on both the Singers and the Downtown Improvement Boards of Directors.
With an administrative background, she is involved in the day to day operations at CFA and enjoys their downtown lifestyle.
Karen has been a part of the team at CFA since 2008. Her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Art & English blends with her previous merchandising experience in a love of creative display, as well as helping the customer find the perfect design.
Lesli Michaelis Onusko
Lesli joined CFA in 2013. With a Fine Arts Degree in photography, she is a skilled art photographer. A keen eye for design, a broad knowledge of all aspects of the business and her friendly customer service skills make Lesli an invaluable member of the team.
Shannon has been part of the CFA team for over 10 years. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. When not behind the counter at CFA, she works in a number of different artistic disciplines. Her interests range from drawing and painting in her signature style to designing and painting murals and audio visual installation. She currently writes a column, artNOW for KawarthaNOW.
